Most of people who have been tired of the heavy traffic when going to work or being back home, must hope to work at home. And people also measure their success by being office-less. Actually I think we will be more productive than working in the office. But despite that also means enormous financial savings, lower turnover, improved productivity, and no costly overhead, it is still hard to convice the boss. Here are three ways that are offered by Bruce A. Hurwitz, Ph.D., president and CEO of Hurwitz Staffing, who said that could surely help you get permission. Of course you should make sure that your work can be done at home.
1. Establish yourself as a reliable and trusted employee. Lin Grensing-Pophal, the author of “Managing Off-Site Staff,” says, “The biggest barrier to telecommuting is trust, but, in reality, it’s no different from managing employees who work in branch offices or other remote locations–even internationally.”

boss, work at home

It is hard to see the newest comer sweep the office if there is no special regulation that we should sweep the office in turn. However, that’s right the most salutary branch of business education, which can develop kind of attitude that we should begin at the beginning and occupy the most subordinate positions. The fact is that it seems impossible initiatively to sweep the whole office for one person, or else other workmates may look at you funny, but at least do something yourself without the help of professional sweeper.
If you have a job, please do it well. You know the boss will not employ a person to take a meaningless task. That is to say there is aim that you need to get to. Don’t say you don’t like your job, but do it well first, then consider if it is worthy to continue to stay there. Don’t give up halfway unless you are sure you have another definite aim that you must achieve. “Aim high” is right. Don’t satisfy with your current place but say to yourself, “My place is at the top”. Be king in your dream, which is an attitude that encourages you to do hard in your life.
Just do one thing at one time. Don’t scatter your energy, thought, and capital. It equals that you scatter your brain. If you have such a problem, you may find you never finish one thing from the beginning to the end. Concentrate yourself upon the business in which you are engaged. Somebody once said: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” But I approve another opinion: “Put all your eggs in one basket, and then watch that basket.”
