paperYes, what can paper do? Believe it or not, these 3D wall decors rich in colors and patterns are all handmade from paper by an ingenious graphic designer Yulia Brodskaya. Truly shocking! All I’ve got in mind is “WOoooW”. She perfectly combines typography, paper and dedicate hand-made craft objects all together, endowing these advertising posters with a distinctive beauty. Really hard to believe such beautiful things can be just made of plain paper, however if you see really carefully you do can discover that there’s truly only paper there! And one might should start to wonder if paper can become such a beauty, then how about others, like wood, like plastic, like threads…etc. Now, you might want to start your own artwork…

Well, let’s get back to the story. Using this unique technique, Yulia Brodskaya has made advertising posters for Orange, Nokia and other companies. Bravo! Just check out these pictures yourself!paperart for starbuckspaperart

Cocktail ManiaWe love these little games, simple rules, free to pause, and very much replayable, and I love the picture style here. So this is it, the Cocktail Mania, a good challenge for hard-casual gamers. Cocktail Mania has plenty of special effects and matching cocktail is really funny. Hopefully, you’ll all enjoy this funny little game.

Basically, it’s a original match-3 /time management game with cocktail theme! However, this game is out of the usual match-3 genre: it’s a time-challenge full of obstacles like olives to eat, bugs to kill, phone rings, drunkenness and so on. I like the tools offered to gamers: coffee for the alcohol rate to go down, ice to freeze the timer (nice sounds!), a screen shuffler and so on… And also, I love the drunken screen effect when you match wrong cocktails or abuse ice cubes. There are levels where you have to move only one kind of item and levels where the bonus will help you a lot. Bonuses are less original: vertical bomb, horizontal bomb, time bonus, money bonus and jolly piece as usual, plus columns exchanger, click’em all piece and area bomb.

Graphic is very nice and so is the music, Some cocktail recipes are achieved when you win level after level. It’s really funny and worth playing!

torchlightWe all love playing games, but sometimes we might feel tired when playing for some games are just too complicated and really hard to play. Occasionally, it’s OK, but always…what’s the point of playing games if it’s as tired as working. Well, here’s a interesting game, that is enjoyable and easy to play.

Torchlight is a fresh new Action RPG franchise developed by Runic Games. Torchlight is being developed in Seattle by a veteran team composed of the designers and leads of projects like Diablo, Diablo II, Mythos, and Fate. The adventure is set in the mining settlement of Torchlight, a boomtown founded on the discovery of rich veins of Ember – a rare and mysterious ore with the power to enchant or corrupt all that it contacts. This corruptive power may have dire consequences however, and players set out into the nearby mountains and depths below to discover the full extent of Ember’s influence on the civilizations that have come before.

For now it is only available with single player version, which is totally fine with me, cause I can pause anytime I want during playing. Players can choose from among three character classes, and venture from the safety of the town of Torchlight into randomly generated dungeon levels, with a huge variety of creepy monsters, endless variations of loot to find, and quests to complete. The endless randomization ensures a long-lived gameplay experience. Here’s some detailed features about this amazing game:

1.Randomization – the level layouts are randomly created, so each adventure is unique. Monsters, treasures, puzzles, and items are also different each time you embark on an adventure.
2.Easy, approachable interface – Torchlight is designed to be easy to play right from the beginning. The intuitive interface gives players easy access to a rich and varied world.
3.Retirement System – Once characters are sufficiently leveled up, they can “retire” and bestow specific benefits and perks to new characters.
4.Pets – Players will choose a pet to accompany them. Pets can level up along with the player, and will help in battle, carry items, and perform a variety of helpful services, which is really helpful and convenient.
5.Character Classes – Players will create and customize a character from one of three classes available, and choose an animal companion. Through cosmetic choices, skill path decisions, and the treasures they acquire, each character will be custom-tailored and different.
6.Fishing – Players can take a break from the high-energy pace of adventuring to visit one of the fishing holes and relax and see what they can catch. Fish have interesting benefits for the player and pet, and other rewards can also be discovered. Personally, I do love fishing games, really interesting, and not much intention required.

Interesting story, fabulous adventures, funny characters, mini-game included, pause free…Oh, man, this is the best game you will ever wanted!

RoogooOne of the most wonderful thing about vedio games is that you can play God and save the day! Obtaining a great sense of achievement is really fun and enjoyable. As for this particular game, the Roogoos are cute fun-loving race and their Planet Roo is very interesting and full of joys, and the world setting is quite simple, very worth playing.

Roogoo is an innovative and unusual 3D puzzle game that has players guide and stack different shaped blocks through various platforms to not only save planet Roo, but the entire Roogoo race. Roogoo tasks players with guiding meteors in the form of shaped blocks through a series of rotating disks as a means of saving planet Roo and the entire Roogoo race. If aligned correctly, the disks allow the blocks to reach the ground and scores are awarded. Various obstacles and enemies will impede the blocks’ movement and with the flow of meteor blocks steadily increasing as the game progresses, players will have to think on their feet to save the Roogoo and rack up seriously high scores.

Also it contains 45 levels of action packed puzzle racing games. It is really easy to play, starting with two buttons and adding more functions as you advance; Have got cute and funny short story segments throughout the game, and appeals to everyone including both casual and serious gamers alike. What’s more? It is filled with fun imaginative creatures, interesting world objects, and has multi-playered game play progression.

So, have a nice day saving the Roogoo race and the Roo Planet!

Plants vs Zombies

“Funny, endless, ridiculously good value.” – PC GAMER

Since long ago people have loved games and nowadays these games have become more and more beautiful and funny. However, games also become biger due to get better display and video sequences, which has gradually become a problem for low-end computer users like me. So lately I found some really good 2D games that don’t require large disk space or hardware configration. This is one hight praised small game, and to my own experience it does qualified its fame!

Get ready to soil your plants in an all-new action-strategy game from PopCap! A mob of fun-loving zombies is about to invade your home, and your only defense is an arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and more to mulchify 26 types of zombies before they can reach your front door. Each zombie has its own special skills, so you’ll need to think fast and plant faster to combat them all. But be careful how you use your limited supply of greens and seeds… as you battle the fun-dead, obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!

Also personally I love the textture feeling and painting style of this pretty game. I’m quite a old fashioned person that I still believe there’s some beauty and feeling can only be expressed by 2D games, not 3D. Those funny characters of zombies and plants simply felt more delicate and  exquisite in 2D, so enjoyable! Well, tell me your feelings in comments!

family funDeep inside we all want to live in peace and harmony with nature in the quiet countryside, if not how do you think the Japanese sell their PSP game - ”Harvest Moon” so well!  This desire appears to be even stronger in kids, for we’re all born love nature. However we usually can’t do that all the time so we turn to games, to the virtual world to enjoy this peace and joy. Screens can’t be good for kids, therefore here comes this fabulous toy that is perfect for kids to play the farmer game.

Reliable, educational and always a crowd pleaser, Fisher Price has tons of new toys that will keep your tot having fun under the tree and then some.  What did we choose?  Well since the toddlers can’t read, we’ll tell ya.  We decided on the Precious Places Swan Palace and the vintage inspired Little People Play & Go Farm (50th birthday edition).  The palace has a banquet hall, treasure chest and has enough pink dazzle to satisfy the little princess of your house.  The special edition farm reminds us of our own childhood play time and really looks just like the one we all grew up with…yes we are a little sentimental around here when it comes to toys.  Best part about choosing Fisher Price this year?  You will never be in a rush, because they are carried by most department stores.

So skip the uncertainty and pick this wonderful toy or some other toys that you know they’ll love as much as you did. Take that home and start enjoy with your little ones, you’ll surely find fun and precious memories while doing this. Actually you’re creating memorable moments at the meantime! Well,  enjoy!

lightsThese days animated movie has been a fashion for everyone, there’re many animated movies going on in the cinema, and people love it! Have you ever found yourself come up with good ideas that makes you want to make your own movie to record your idea? Always difficult to find the perfect person that can and will act the roles in your movie? Don’t worry about that any more, now you can make your own animated movie with some LED flashlights.

Shape the LED flashlights to the exact shape that you have in mind, with a long camera exposure you’ll get yourself a light-based art. Take it a step further,by creating not just a light art picture, but many sequential pictures to form an animated movie. Sound quite easy huh? Yes, the process is simple in concept, but pretty ambitious in what you can create. How ambitious?

Let’s take a look at “Lucky” by All India Radio, it is the viewable blood, sweat and tears of Australian based animation company ‘Dee Pee Studios’. It involves a painstaking animation technique, whereby the team paints in the air with glow sticks, frame after to frame to create entire sequences of animation, usually taking a whole night to shoot.

Once you’ve shot your hundreds of light-art pictures, you’ll need a way to animate them. You’ll find plenty of simple animation tools online like previously reviewed PhotoLapse, more than adequate for turning your SD card’s bounty into a glowing animated movie. So never worry about that! The import thing is how good is your idea and how well you’ve expressed it in your piece of Light-Art workl! So what are you waiting for? Go, Go and make a movie!!

MSI movie station HD1000

We all love watch movies, however we might not have the time to go to a theatre or a cinema. So get a video streamer is quite necessary, seeing this many cooperations entered the video streaming game, now MSI too.

There definitely isn’t a lack of network video streamers these days. MSI is the latest to out what is probably a quality little AV appliance. I mean, it’s somewhat difficult to mess these things up. Really the only way is to not natively support .AVI or .MKV files. Right, Moxi?

The Movie Stations HD1000 has nearly everything we’ve came to expect from these devices with 1080p HDMI, Ethernet, dual-USB jacks, SPDIF, and component/composite jacks. Good thing there are a bunch to choose from here in the States as this €99 guy looks like he will be restricted to Germany for now.

Well you can just get one on internet or if you’re just shopping for the future you can simply just wait untill it gets officially to the States. Don’t worry, it will soon if it’s good enough!

dragon ageThis particular video game has been on the top of every game site even before it’s released officiallly. Now since it’s available and everyone keeps talking about it, whether it is worth playing or not we have to admit one thing: Here comes the year of “Dragon” year!

When was the last time you felt absolutely lost in a fantasy gameworld? When was the last time you played a game with such a well-crafted and enjoyable story that you knew you’d remember it for a long, long time? Dragon Age: Origins is that kind of game, so rich and involving that you are powerless to resist its wiles and whims, so touching and triumphant that you will be really moved. In the fictional land of Ferelden, you meet memorable characters and fight for a cause you believe in, and it’s this backdrop that makes this RPG so extraordinary. Dragon Age is more than a well-crafted story, however: It’s a lengthy, intricate, and thoroughly entertaining adventure that’s easy to fall in love with.

Unlike many of BioWare’s previous titles, Dragon Age: Origins is not based on a pre-existing franchise. The game mechanics and setting are being developed by BioWare specifically for this game. Dragon Age: Origins also utilizes a new game engine named Eclipse.  BioWare co-CEO Ray Muzyka describes Dragon Age: Origins as a ’spiritual successor’ to the Baldur’s Gate series.

The setting is “medieval fantasy” and the plot has been described as “epic”, which deals with the impending invasion of a horde of demonic creatures called the darkspawn, isn’t where the story’s biggest surprises lie. The shocks, joys, and the disappointments spring from the repartee among a number of remarkable characters. They lurk within books of lore and stories of martyrs; and they burst forth during spine-tingling moments when you must choose from a selection of difficult choices that affect the tale’s direction–and the way your associates interact with you. Ferelden is a colorful and fascinating kingdom that takes enough cues from well-known fantasy tropes to be familiar, but bends enough conventions to feel original. They aim for a dark, mature, gritty fantasy setting as opposed to the High Fantasy Dungeons and Dragons BioWare fans are used to.

So this is the must-play game of the year, and whether it’s worth it or not, that really depends on you. And that’s something you can decide only after playing, so get one and enjoy!
