Easter Day has been a big day of sports and games around the White House today. The President Obama kicked off the annual White House Easter Egg Roll this morning where thousands of visiting children pushed eggs down the South Lawn. He then headed across town to Nationals Park where he threw out the ceremonial first pitch on the Nats’ Opening Day. That pitch marked the 100th anniversary of Presidential first pitches on Opening Day of baseball season, a tradition inaugurated by William Howard Taft on April 14, 1910.
And you better believe that the President Obama will be watching tonight’s NCAA men’s basketball championship. In the run-up to the Final Four, he took on former NBA player and CBS Sports college basketball commentator Clark Kellogg in a game of HORSE — rather, POTUS — at the White House. Watch how he fared against the pro:

There goes Christmas and here comes the New Year, it is really a happy time full of parties, balls and banquets. The season of celebrations I’d say. So the situation here is we have to get our little one some fabulous dress for these happy events, which is admittedly not so easy as picking up our own dress. Then you might find this short article useful…
When searching for a special dress for our little one we were lucky enough to stumble upon the delightful creations at Velvet & Tweed. Timeless dresses and classy outfits are their specialty. Very “Suri Cruise-y”, if you know what we mean. Velvet & Tweed’s boys and girls designs are simple, elegant and have just the right about of detailing to make the clothes special, but not over the top. We absolutely love the Liberty Holiday dress (which happens to be on sale now) with it’s lined skirt and bow…perfect for the winter celebration party scene. Our tot will be wearing this gorgeous frock paired with some cream colored tights and shiny black mary janes. What we like most about Velvet’s comfy dress up wear is that it’s made with care and style in mind. From the shiny buttons to the ruffled collars, their winter line is what we want to dress our children in this season. Velvet & Tweed have an online shop for those of us too far away to shop in person…thank goodness.
Well get your mac and your credit card, and you’ll have this gorgeous dress for your little girl, maybe something more as a plus. Right, Mommies?
